Application:

The triple pole Rotating isolator is gang operated and designe for outdoor application. The isolator is designed to suit substations and distribution network, where the system stability is much greater and operation is trustworthy. The Main function of this product is to isolate the System as network.

Contacts:

Fix contacts are multi finger hard drawn tin or silver plated copper flat, moulded in reverse loop patten. This finger are mounted on aluminium support and whole assembly is fixed on M.S. bracket with bimetallic plate. Moving contact is made from hard drawn copper pipe with pressed end in diamond shape and tin or silver plated. SS springs are provided with insuleted buffers.

Construction:

Each pole of solator is consist of galvanized steel base, post type or solid core insulators of reputed make, moving and fix contacts, double bearing type revlving base, interlocking if required, linkages for turn and twist operation, steel tubes and M.S. turned grippers are provided for coupling the phases.

Indoor High-voltage Air Break / Load Break Switches are based on a modular principle, which is suitable for the power system of 3.6kV to 36kV. They represent an attractive solution as a key breaking current for application in enclosed Switchgear, Ring Main Unit and Compact Substations. In combination with current limiting fuses, Switch fuse unit ensure control over the full range of over load and short circuit currents. It is used for switching the transformers, Capacitors, protecting cables and overhead lines, etc. Load Break Switch has been tested at CPRI.
